Job Description:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, maintenance and security of LifeChurch – Mundo de Fe’s building and grounds in order to maintain an environment of excellence utilizing all of the facilities to the Glory of God.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Minimum of High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC and mechanical functions of a large non-residential building.
• Good organizational and planning skills and a demonstrated ability to lead other employees and volunteers.
• Ability to negotiate with contractors and vendors for facility needs.
• Regular timely attendance during stated hours:
Monday: 9:30am – 5:30pm
Tuesday: 9:30am -5:30pm
Wednesday: 4pm – 12am (close and arm building)
Thursday: 4pm-12am (close and arm building)
Saturday: 2:00pm-7pm *flexible depending on events (close and arm building)
Sunday: alternate.
• Available and on call for emergencies.
• Ability to communicate with staff and volunteers on facility needs and uses; Spanish-speaking a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• In charge of maintenance and repair of the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, landscape, waste management, building inspections, elevator, locksmith, housekeeping, painting, supplies.
• Follow up with staff/contractors to ensure work is completed properly and timely
• Maintain accurate records of the condition of equipment and others building systems
• Create and maintain schedule of regular evaluation and maintenance of facilities
• Scheduling assignments as well as preventative maintenance work
• Weekly meetings with pastoral oversight to ensure work is being done properly and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with suppliers & vendors to ensure the church is efficient with church’s money and at the standard of excellence we would like to achieve
• Scheduling all landscape & grounds maintenance as needed
• Direct contact with outside vendors and/or staff members in case of an emergency such as fire, water damage, power outage, etc.
• Perform minor repairs and temporary repairs in case of emergency.
• Responsible for room set ups for services and special events.
• Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Occasionally coordinate groups of volunteers for certain projects and maintenance to be executed by volunteers.
• Physical Demands:
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and to have complete mobility in building and grounds activities.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise custodial staff.
